One of the problems with ironing is having the cord attached to the iron and this can cause some problems with manoeuvring the iron.
And so it is great that there are some cordless irons that you can buy which give you a much greater freedom when moving the iron. The cordless irons usually have a rechargeable battery built into them and also often have a base in which you sit the cordless iron when it is not in use and when on this base the battery is recharged.
